When I started it I was thinking forward to Spring and the beautiful pear trees and apple trees that bloom around the neighborhood—the memory of it in my mind a sweet reminder of the coming Spring. I magnified the tiny blossoms larger than life in an exaggerated study of their beauty. I usually wait until right after I finish a piece to title it and on the day I finished this piece, the day of my first solo art show opening, I was both looking forward to the show’s opening but also the reflecting back on how far I’d come in such a short amount of time. This painting will always be a sweet reminder of that day.

Oil and cold wax medium on Arches oil paper mounted to a cradled wooden panel. The piece will be signed and dated on the back of the panel.

This painting is framed in a beautiful white canvas floater frame and comes ready to hang with two heavy duty D-Rings on the back.
