Love my style but want something more personal for your space? We can work together to make something truly special for your home or office. Commissioned artwork is a great way to bring the perfect piece of art into your space. It also makes a uniquely special gift for weddings, anniversaries, house warmings, or new baby—basically any of life’s most special moments.
I am currently scheduling commissions about three months out in the following mediums: oil and cold wax paintings, graphite drawings (black and white) or colored pencil drawings. If you need advice on or have questions, just send me an email at jen@stefanek.org and we will figure it out together.
OIl and cold wax paintings
My oil and cold wax paintings are looser and more abstract with a focus on color, light, contrast and composition. Ideal subjects are floral and botanicals or landscapes. Let me capture something special for you. I reference both real life subjects and photographs while creating my paintings.
Graphite Drawings
This is where my type-A control freak comes out. My black and white pencil drawings are incredibly detailed and photo realistic and I love to draw pretty much anything. I work from life and from photo subjects.
Colored pencil drawings
I build up layers of color in a photo realistic way to make my beautiful colored pencil drawings. Ideally I prefer to work on a single subject isolated on the page for my colored pencil drawings—a beautiful floral stem, a favorite food or meaningful object.

1. Select which size artwork you would like me to make (see the chart below for sizing and pricing examples—custom sizes available upon request) and whether you want a drawing or a painting.
2. Decide what you would like me to paint or draw (either through a reference photograph or by looking at my past artwork—you check out my Instagram account for inspiration).
3. Fill out this Contact Form or email me at jen@stefanek.org to get the conversation started. I will respond to you quickly to discuss your project and answer any questions you have about the process.

Frequently Asked Questions About Commissions
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
Once we have buttoned up all the details and we are on the same page, I will send you an invoice for a 50% deposit to begin making your piece. Once the piece is complete, I will send you a photograph for final approval and will then send an invoice for the remaining 50% balance (plus shipping & tax). Once I receive final payment I ship the artwork to you.
HOW LONG UNTIL I RECEIVE MY PAINTING?
I am currently scheduling commissions three months out. Meaning that if you schedule a commission today I will not be able to start until three months from now and they generally take one month from start to finish once I start painting. Paying a 50% deposit will reserve your spot in line and get you on my calendar. I often finish it before then, and will advise you of my schedule at the time that you secure your commission. If you are in hurry and need something in a shorter timeframe I will do my best to accommodate you but an additional rush fee may be added to the cost of your piece.
WHAT IF I WANT TO MAKE AN EDIT TO THE ARTWORK?
I will be in touch a couple times while in the process of creating your piece to share some photos of your work in progress. I am open to suggestions and minor edits along the way but please keep in mind that you hired me for my creative vision and talent and you should trust that I will make a beautiful piece for you.
Refund policy
All commissions are non-returnable. If the artwork is damaged during shipping please contact me right away and I will work with you to remedy the situation.
