I’m never at a loss for inspiration for my beautiful floral paintings. I pin and screen shot and snap pictures whenever something catches my eye and often become a floral arranger on paper as I pull one flower from here, a color inspiration from there and pull it all together. Sometimes I work from life and let the inspiration of others to inspire me. Often I am not looking at anything but rely on my memory of a flower to guide me. This painting, however, was from a special arrangement that a local floral designer created special for me. I love all the beautiful textures and colors she used and consider this painting a collaboration. It’s a lovely way to work.

Oil and cold wax medium on Arches oil paper mounted to a cradled wooden panel. The piece will be signed and dated on the back of the panel.

This painting is framed in a beautiful white canvas floater frame and comes ready to hang with a wire hanger on the back.
