Could there be a more joyful, uplifting subject to paint than flowers? I think not. Our Winters are pretty brutal in Michigan and surrounding myself with color and filling my days painting with it helps lift my spirits and counteract the winter blahs. Forget the happy light—give me all the bright flowers!

Oil and cold wax medium on Arches oil paper mounted to a cradled wooden panel. The piece will be signed and dated on the back of the panel.

This painting is unframed and the edges are currently unfinished (see the last photo). I would be happy to paint the edges in a color that coordinates with the painting and your decor—write a note to me at checkout and I will be in touch to coordinate that with you.
